Kitchen steward • Ikot Abasi, Akwa Ibom State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a kitchen steward in Ikot Abasi, Akwa Ibom State. You will be based in a hotel kitchen. The role involves mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks; clean extractor-hood filters and degrease the walls; help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room; empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard; load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles; keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service. You should have: • Good teamwork with chefs and floor staff • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
