Immediate opening: offshore rigger (Louisiana)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Claiborne Parish, Louisiana. The job is on a high-rise building site. Requirements: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites You will check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $30 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
