Argon welder wanted in Greene County

Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Greene County, Ohio. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. You will prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); carry out 6G pipe welds where required; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. Requirements: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
