Port container crane operator wanted in Chilton County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Chilton County, Alabama. The role involves: • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) Requirements: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging 4+ years on the tools preferred.
