Immediate opening: short order cook (Arkansas)

Join our team: we are hiring a short order cook in Van Buren County, Arkansas. The job is at a busy restaurant kitchen. Day to day you will plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
