Estate gardener — Owen County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an estate gardener in Owen County, Kentucky. You will work at a plant nursery. You should have: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting The role involves: • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease Six days a week, one day off.
