We are recruiting: safety officer (Ebonyi State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a safety officer in Afikpo North, Ebonyi State. You will work at a manufacturing plant. What we are looking for: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate Day to day you will audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task.
