What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Confident with standard crane hand signals On a typical shift you will rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; read lift plans and method statements before starting; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle.
