Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Jasper County, Georgia. What we are looking for: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Own basic hand tools and PPE On the job you will handle: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
