Aluminium tig welder — Ouachita County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Ouachita County, Arkansas. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. On a typical shift you will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode. Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight 5+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
