Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar worker in Morgan County, Tennessee. The job is on a commercial tower construction site. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Day-to-day duties: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers Full-time, day shift.
