You should have: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles You will check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio.
