Great opportunity: slinger signaller (Kano State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Dawakin Kudu, Kano State. You will be based at a busy construction site. Day to day you will read lift plans and method statements before starting; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. Ideal candidate: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. ₦210,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
