Now hiring: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Tensas Parish, Louisiana. Your main tasks: • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports You should have: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
