Immediate opening: we are hiring a safety officer in Union County, South Carolina. You will be based at a busy construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports Requirements: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Six days a week, one day off.
