Vacancy available: we are hiring a pressman in Harlan County, Nebraska. The role involves: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
