Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Elk County, Pennsylvania. On a typical shift you will set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
