Garment machinist wanted in Akoko South West

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garment machinist in Akoko South West, Ondo State. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. Your main tasks: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift You should have: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
