Plasterer's mate wanted in Central Bedfordshire

Great opportunity: we are hiring a plasterer's mate in Central Bedfordshire, England. You will be based on a busy domestic building site. What we are looking for: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish The role involves apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration. We offer £2,800 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
