Urgent requirement: tiling assistant (California)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Contra Costa County, California. You will be based on a commercial fit-out project. What we are looking for: • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone Day-to-day duties: • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits Full-time, day shift.
