Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in New Hanover County, North Carolina. The job is in a tool room. The role involves watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed. What we are looking for: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts 1+ years on the tools preferred.
