Tig welder wanted in Decatur County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tig welder in Decatur County, Kansas. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. The role involves: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Rotating shifts.
