Fire and safety officer — Morgan County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Morgan County, Alabama. You will work on a high-rise building project. The role involves: • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates Requirements: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Six days a week, one day off.
