Power float operator wanted in City of Winchester

Immediate opening: we are hiring a power float operator in City of Winchester, Virginia. The job is at a ready-mix concrete plant. You should have: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours On a typical shift you will carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
