Argon welder wanted in Grant County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Grant County, West Virginia. You will run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. You should have: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
