MIG welder • Hutchinson County, South Dakota

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a MIG welder in Hutchinson County, South Dakota. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. You will tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
