Reinforcement fitter — Berkshire County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Berkshire County, Massachusetts. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling You will check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
