Reinforcement steel fixer — Pittsburg County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Pittsburg County, Oklahoma. You will be based on a commercial tower construction site. What we are looking for: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Day to day you will assemble column and beam cages on the bench; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
