Now hiring: we are hiring a spray painter (automotive) in Lincoln County, Kentucky. You will be based in an automotive paint and panel workshop. On the job you will handle: • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Good eye for colour matching and blending 3+ years on the tools preferred. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
