We are recruiting: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Saint Helena Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a busy building site. On a typical shift you will seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane Full-time, day shift.
