We are recruiting: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Denton County, Texas. The job is on a structural steel site. Requirements: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Day to day you will change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $7,000 per project plus benefits. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
