Groundworker • Aiyedire, Osun State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundworker in Aiyedire, Osun State. You will be based on a commercial building project. Day to day you will set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns. What we are looking for: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
