We are recruiting: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Baxter County, Arkansas. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. The role involves: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
