Urgent requirement: rigger (Iowa)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigger in Kossuth County, Iowa. You will be based at a container port. Day-to-day duties: • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Part-time with flexible hours.
