Gas pipeline fitter wanted in Sierra County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Sierra County, California. You will be based in a gas distribution network. Day to day you will test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints. You should have: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $230 per day plus benefits.
