Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar worker in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a rebar fabrication workshop. Day to day you will place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules. Requirements: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
