Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc turner in City and Borough of Wrangell, Alaska. You will be based at a busy machine shop. Your main tasks: • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
