Overhead (EOT) crane operator • Edgecombe County, North Carolina

We are recruiting: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Edgecombe County, North Carolina. You will work in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. Day to day you will keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands. Ideal candidate: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
