Great opportunity: we are hiring a demolition labourer in Ashland County, Ohio. You will be based on a road and bridge project. The role involves fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
