Now hiring: rebar fixer (Bauchi State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Gamawa, Bauchi State. The job is on a commercial tower construction site. On the job you will handle: • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover What we are looking for: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
