We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Martin County, Kentucky. You will be based at a heating and plumbing contractor. Requirements: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing On a typical shift you will thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls.
