Electrical maintenance fitter — Alleghany County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an electrical maintenance fitter in Alleghany County, Virginia. You will be based in an industrial control panel workshop. Day to day you will replace faulty switches, sockets and light fittings; carry out preventive maintenance on switchgear and busbars; install and connect MCBs, RCBOs and isolators in the DB; wire single-phase and three-phase distribution boards; size and route cabling to suit the load current and voltage drop; install LED fittings, ceiling fans and exhaust fans. What we are looking for: • Valid wireman/electrical licence as required by the state • Sound knowledge of IS wiring and earthing standards • Safe handling of live LV circuits and proper PPE use Rotating shifts.
