Join our team: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Riley County, Kansas. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings On the job you will handle: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
