Argon arc welder • Glasscock County, Texas

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Glasscock County, Texas. On a typical shift you will read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off.
