Health and safety supervisor — Fairfield County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Fairfield County, South Carolina. The job is at an oil and gas facility. Ideal candidate: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Day-to-day duties: • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
