Furniture maker — Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni

Vacancy available: we are hiring a furniture maker in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni, Rivers State. You will work on a residential housebuilding project. Day-to-day duties: • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions What we are looking for: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience Part-time with flexible hours.
