Urgent requirement: pipe tig welder (Ohio)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Jackson County, Ohio. What we are looking for: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium The role involves: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator Full-time with occasional weekends.
