Gang bricklayer — Blackburn with Darwen

Now hiring: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Blackburn with Darwen, England. Day to day you will bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays. You should have: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. £2,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
