Immediate opening: we are hiring a CO2 welder in James City County, Virginia. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. You should have: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Willing to work shifts and overtime You will weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead.
