Steel erection rigger • Sabuwa, Katsina State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Sabuwa, Katsina State. Day to day you will establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; read lift plans and method statements before starting; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
